Thank The Lord and Watch This Happen in Your Life

Let Go, and Let God.

My name is Elaine, and I have the honour of serving as the Church Secretary at Penge Baptist Church in London. I’ve walked with Christ for many years — but I’ll be the first to admit: the journey isn’t always clear.

You may perhaps like me, had questions that lingered in the silence, and faced seasons of doubt. The truth is we can all become weary, and wonder if God was still near.

Even when we attend church, raise our hands in worship, and say the right prayers… Sometimes, we still feel empty. Sometimes, we wear a “prayer face” — while quietly wondering, “Where is God in all this?” Is that how you sometimes feel?

This is because we are still holding onto the wheel instead of letting God do the work for us. But here’s the important thing to remember. You can watch this powerful video or read this blog:

Gratitude Unlocks Divine Power

Brothers and sisters in Christ,
In a moment, we’re going to pray together, and I want you to promise me one thing: that you will read this blog or listen to this video to the end — so you can thank the Lord and watch the power of God move in your life.

This is no ordinary power. It’s a power shift. A transformation. A divine intervention.

But first, I have a challenging question for you — because I want to lean into you with this prayer and get to the very crux of your walk with God.

When good things happen in your life… do you remember why?

I don’t mean the “what” — I mean the “why.” Why did it happen? Why now? Why you?

You see, what I really want to ask you is this: Do you recognize that it’s your Father in Heaven who is blessing you with favor?

Every Blessing Comes from God — Not Luck

Too many of God’s people receive good things and call it luck. They say, “I guess I was just in the right place at the right time.” They forget that it was God who opened that door. God who moved that heart. God who made that way when there was no way.

Let me remind you of Deuteronomy 8:18:

Biblic Truth

“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth…”

Or James 1:17, which says:

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights…”

When you thank God — not just once, but continually — you activate something powerful in your life. You shift your posture from passively receiving to intentionally recognizing God’s hand in everything.
When you activate God’s power in your life, a new you is born.
I don’t mean that in the literal sense, but in the spiritual, God-fearing, awe-inspiring, power-filled sense. You see, your life as you know it now will take on new meaning. Strength becomes power. Truth becomes authority.

Weakness becomes a doorway to a new beginning. Doors that were once closed open, and the world unfolds a myriad of possibilities that become more real with each passing day.

You don’t need the best clothes, the best car, or society’s approval — all you need is to receive God into your life with faith as small as a mustard seed.

God is Still Present.

Remembering God Keeps You Grounded

And once that happens, your life begins to align with His divine will in ways you never imagined.

Before we begin, I want you to still your mind and open your heart.

This is a prayer for sanctity This moment isn’t ordinary — it’s an extraordinary invitation. I want you to come before God with true gratitude, so that we open the door for divine intervention. Miracles begin where thanksgiving lives. So as we pray, don’t just listen — believe. Expect. Because when you thank the Lord with faith, heaven responds.

This is Prayer Refuge.

This is Prayer Refuge

So let’s pray.
Heavenly Father,
I come before You now on behalf of the hopeful — that Your precious son, Your precious daughter listening will be divinely blessed. Lord, in Your divine wisdom, You have called them here. You stirred their heart. You arranged this very moment.

And so I pray with urgency and with faith:
Teach them, O Lord, to recognize Your hand in every blessing they receive.

We know, Lord, that when good things happen to us, we often forget that You are the Master of our destiny.
You have ordained it.
You have empowered us to receive the blessing.

Open their eyes to see the fingerprints of Your favor in every open door, every provision, every healing, every opportunity.
Let them know, understand, and appreciate that this is Your will, Lord, for their lives.

Lord, You said in Psalm 103:2:
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.”

But too often we forget. We move on. We rush into the next need, the next want, the next struggle — and we forget to stop and say, “Thank You, God.”

God, forgive us.
Forgive the one listening if they’ve taken Your goodness for granted.
Forgive them if they’ve overlooked the divine help that came in the form of a friend’s encouragement, a last-minute breakthrough, or strength they didn’t know they had.

Let this be the moment where their heart returns to gratitude. Let this be the turning point.

Listener, I want you to stop right now and pause.

Why?
Because I want you to give thanks for God moving in your life.
Amen. Praise the Lord.
Stop right now… and give thanks to God.
For He is good, and His mercy endures forever.

Father, I ask You to stir up a new awareness in them — a new sensitivity to Your presence in their daily life.
Do a new thing in their life, Lord.

Your Word says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18:
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Not just when it feels good.
Not just when the prayers are answered.
But even in the in-between.
Even in the waiting.
Even when the breakthrough hasn’t yet come — because You are still worthy.

So I ask You now:
Listener — when was the last time you truly thanked God from your heart?
Not for what you want, but for what you already have?
When did you last sit in His presence with no request — only praise?

This is not to shame you, but to invite you higher.
Because when you give God thanks, something powerful begins to happen.

Gratitude is the key that unlocks God’s next move in your life.
Gratitude breaks spiritual stagnation.
Gratitude invites His presence closer.

Lord, I intercede for the one listening —
May their life be marked by daily thankfulness.
May their heart overflow with praise.
May their mornings begin with the acknowledgment of You.

Let me pause this prayer briefly and ask the listener:
What does your prayer life look like right now?
Do you only come to God when you’re desperate — or do you meet with Him daily, out of love and honor?

What would happen if every morning, before anything else, you simply said:
“Father, thank You. Thank You for waking me up. Thank You for breath. Thank You for being God over my life.”

Let’s say this prayer together now. It’s a short declaration, but I believe the Holy Spirit will honor it:

Gratitude Must Be Daily, Not Situational

“Father, thank You for today. I bless You for every good thing in my life. I recognize that You are my Source, my Sustainer, and my Strength. Let my heart never forget where my help comes from.”

Hallelujah. Glory to Your Name, Lord!

Now let me continue to pray over you, precious child of God:

Father, I declare over this listener:
May the floodgates of Heaven open as they choose gratitude.
May their spirit be lifted.
May their heart be renewed.
May their home be filled with peace.
May favor surround them like a shield, as promised in Psalm 5:12.

I command blessings upon their day.
Bless their going out and their coming in.
Bless the work of their hands.
Bless their thoughts — align their mind with Your Word.
Bless their relationships — remove those sent by the enemy and bring divine connections.
Bless their finances — multiply what they have and teach them to steward it with wisdom.

Let joy rise within them even in trials.
Let peace reign even in the storm.
Let boldness grow in them even in uncertainty.

Lord, saturate their life with abundance — not just material, but spiritual.
Give them discernment.
Give them revelation.
Give them divine alignment.

Let them walk so closely with You that their gratitude becomes a daily song.
I pray that even the mundane moments — the simple things — will become miracles of praise.

Let every breath be an act of worship.
Let every step be taken with purpose.
Let every day begin with thanksgiving.

And Lord, if this listener has struggled to pray — struggled to know how to speak to You — I ask You now to meet them in that place.
Let Your Spirit teach them to pray.
Put words in their mouth.
Draw them in with lovingkindness.

They are Yours, God. And I seal them now under the shadow of Your wings.
Let their life shift as they give You thanks.
Let their future unfold as they return praise to the One who holds their tomorrow.

Hallelujah. Praise God.
We thank You, Father.
We honor You.
And we say boldly:
Thank You, Lord — for everything.

Dear listener,
If you prayed that prayer with your whole heart, something has already shifted in the spirit realm.
Don’t let this just be a one-time moment. Make gratitude your daily language.

Are you willing to do this, precious listener?
Walk in thanksgiving — and watch what God will begin to do in your life.

Say this affirmation out loud:
“Lord, I thank You for every seen and unseen blessing, for every door You’ve opened, every battle You’ve fought for me, and every way You are working all things together for my good.”

If this prayer spoke to you — even in the smallest way — show your gratitude to God by leaving an Amen in the comments.
